Jason Nellis is the Chief Executive Overachiever and Principal of Overachiever Media. OM is a content marketing and media production agency based in Washington, D.C., with clients that range from national non-profits, major sports franchises, and local area businesses.
He’s a graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Communication, one of the first employees at Hulu, and a third generation Washingtonian. He is currently the lead organizer of the DC Lean Startup Circle, formerly the communications lead for Fosterly, and at one time was a professional actor. He has spoken both locally and abroad on digital media, communications, and application of Lean Startup methodology.
He enjoys a rye Old Fashioned, a Chicago-style deep dish pizza, and a good Pandora station.
Teague Hopkins is the President of THG and has spent 15 years working on innovation strategy and implementation with the US federal government, billion-dollar software companies, the world’s largest consulting firm, and America’s most trusted national institution, among others.
He has been an organizer of the DC Lean Startup Circle, an advisor to the Lean Startup Machine, and developed entrepreneurship curriculum materials for Goldman Sachs as a Fischer Fellow at Babson’s Serious Games Initiative.
Teague has been recognized for service to the community by the Maryland Governor’s Citation for Outstanding Service, the Harvey B. Gram Award, and the Ralph Z. and Charlotte R. Sorenson Award.
Teague holds an MBA, cum laude, from Babson with double concentrations in entrepreneurship and technology management and a BA in Computer Science from Wesleyan University with a focus in digital media and human-computer interaction.
